When a Fart lands you in Police custody!
Yes, you read the title right! Because it actually happened in the state of Missouri in the USA. It so happened that a man was trying to dodge policemen, but just because he farted at the wrong time, they caught him!
The Liberty Police Department didn’t let out his identity. They were vainly searching for a man who was wanted on a warrant as he was charged for possession of a controlled substance, as reported by the “Kansas City Star”. On the weekend, they spotted him and a chase began. He briefly succeeded in evading them, he hid at a spot where he thought they will never catch him.
But, there was a twist in the tale waiting to happen. The policemen hadn’t given up and were still searching him around when the inevitable happened. His own butt betrayed him and he let out a huge fart! Huge enough for the surrounding policemen to notice. The next activity was so easy for the police, they sniffed the smell and the trail led them to him, who never thought such a reason will land him in police custody!
More fun was in the offing as the nearby Clay Court Sheriff’s office decided to caution people of engaging in criminal behavior when they came to know of this unusual arrest. They tweeted:
If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a day.

The Liberty Police lapped up the tweet for publicity and also for the chance to emit some flatulence jokes & warnings. They tweeted back:

You never know how life will play out for you and in what kind of funny way. But this incident will surely make you alert regarding letting out your wind at the wrong time. Next time if you are playing hide-n-seek and you are caught because you farted, don’t cry, you were already warned.
One question arises though, when the man will be produced in court, will there be more gas and sound coming from his behind or not? Well, that will make for another funny story!
