When you push a Luxury car in the river for another one!
When little kids don’t like any gift on their birthday, they throw it and demand the one they wished for. This is considered normal and happens a lot. Even teenagers do it to some extent, especially teen couples. But have you heard of a fully grown 22-year-old man doing this same thing?
A 22-year-old man named Akash, literally pushed a brand new BMW car into the river because he wanted a Jaguar! This incident happened in the Yamuna Nagar locality of Haryana district of India. Akash was expecting a Jaguar on his birthday, but instead, received a BMW 3 series car. Now any sane person on this earth will happily accept that luxury vehicle, but there have to be some exceptions no?
Even though it was a luxury car, he was not satisfied; he was so upset that he deliberately moved the vehicle in the Western Yamuna Canal. He had clearly vocalized to his father about wanting a Jaguar, but they failed to do so on account of insufficient funds, said a local police official. But that doesn’t mean that he will throw the precious vehicle in the waters no?
He should rather consider himself very lucky to have got parents like that, who went to such lengths to fulfill a 22-year-old man’s wishes. His family sold an Innova car which they had got from their in-laws and with the help of some more funds, they purchased a new BMW for him. Police said his parents claim that he has some undisclosed mental health issue.
Although, his father Sanjeev Kumar defended his son for the weird actions and denied he ever wished for a Jaguar. That is not all, his father, the local landowner, gave another bizarre twist to the story to save his son from further embarrassment. He said that Akash was just trying to swerve away from an antelope that got in the way while he was driving and, in that process, had to put the car in the canal.
Truly, a father can do so much to protect his son! Anyways, a video of the scene emerged later which showed the brand-new BMW floating over a pile of tall grass. Divers, locals and an earthmover were busy trying to bring the submerged car out. Akash though should feel lucky about one thing; no one lodged any complaint to the police about this incident, and hence no arrests were made!
Akash could have protested in other ways than this; after all, it is not every day (and not everyone) that you get a BMW 3 series luxury car as a birthday gift! Think about the poor car, think about other people dreaming of owning that BMW car, what they must have felt after hearing about this bizarre act!
