Wigs of $80,000 and an uncanny Robbery!
Robberies happen all the time and everywhere, there’s no point in even talking about them. But then, some of them turn out to be weird. Sometimes, the style of robbing is worth researching and saluting! Sometimes, the robbery fails but still manages to make headlines. While at other times, the things that are stolen, turn out to be totally unexpected.
Some people may think stealing wigs should be considered as just another usual robbery. They might be true, wigs must have been stolen quite a number of times; But what if the value of those wigs was a whopping $80,000! Because such a robbery just happened in a South Florida Warehouse.
There exists a “Prime Trading Hair and Wigs” near Miami Gardens in South Florida, and that became a target of the thieves. The warehouse had a good amount of security including CCTV cameras, alarms, etc. But, still, that didn’t deter the thieves from stealing that unusual commodity. All thanks to these security measures, the owner got to know about this robbery overnight.
He pulled up footage from the video surveillance and was stunned to see the crime scene unfolding. It showed a truck backing up and ramming the front door of the warehouse three times. The owner Rakib Hossain told Miami Television Station WFOR that the thieves didn’t stay on the premises for more than five minutes.
This was a clear indication that the thieves knew exactly where to go, what was where, how many wigs were there, and how much to take, etc. They must have thoroughly studied the warehouse and come fully prepared. Maybe they were helped by someone from the inside. By the way, some of the individual merchandise was worth $800 each!
The thieves were smart enough to target this big facility and run away with this big value of products. Thankfully, the owner is insured for his losses; another wise move by him, besides the security. Is it that he knew he will get to see such a day? Only he knows that. Still, the question remains, as to why these many wigs were stolen?
The possibility of the thieves wanting the wigs for themselves can be ruled out because, from the video, it looked like they had plenty of them on their heads. Surely they must be planning something big with these wigs! Meanwhile, here we must admit that not a single thing is safe from being robbed these days. Don’t be surprised if you get to hear next, that some thieves robbed a store full of teddy bears!
