Woman stood in front of a Lion, You won’t believe what happened next!
The Bronx Zoo of New York City witnessed something unusual last Saturday. Out of nowhere, a woman entered a Lion’s exhibit and stood in front of him without any serious protection to her; though a small moat separated the two living beings.
Just see the guts of the woman here! Domestic animals are easy to be around; we know they don’t pose any danger to us at all. Then there are some wild animals like Lions, Tigers, etc. who are renowned as man-eaters. Maybe hence, many people will think twice before standing beside such wild animals, even if they are trained and raised in captivity.
Don’t know what exactly the woman was thinking when she climbed over the safety rail of the Lion enclosure. A man named Hernan Reynoso, captured a video of the incident and posted it to Instagram. A woman wearing a t-shirt and pants is seen standing only one foot away from a male Lion, only a moat having a 14-foot drop separated them.
After a short period of staring, she raised her arms and appeared to wave at him. She looked carefree, without any hint of fear. Next, she started to wiggle her body, as if she was dancing in front of him in a very taunting way. All this while, the lion seemed unimpressed by her antics. A General commotion of few other people could be heard in the background of the video.
Hernan, along with his son, was just filming the zoo and the animals when his wife exclaimed “Look at that!” that’s when he recorded the incident. First, he assumed it was just a part of the exhibit, but then, after seeing her antics, he started thinking it all to be crazy. Hernan also saw the lion getting agitated at a point and roared at her; quickly he got hold of his family and ran away.
Before anything worse could happen, the zoo officials secured the enclosure and escorted her out of the park. Onlookers were perplexed and thought that the woman looked troubled. The Bronx zoo officials stated that the act of the woman was unlawful trespassing and in serious violation of their policies. They also said, a little more time inside and the African lion would have killed her.
Well, that is some serious issue that happened. Nobody knows as to why she did this, what were her intentions, what she thought before doing this, but the Bronx zoo filed a criminal trespass report against her. Now the police are on the lookout for her!
Humans inherently have a fear about being with lions and tigers, any sane person will think ten times before doing this act. But the woman, well, she seriously must be disturbed, or maybe she and the lion were friends? Did she get invited to a dancing challenge? We never know.
