If you are a traveler, going on a trip to visit a place, you basically go to experience the destination, whether it has any monument or any other specialty. You don’t go there to irritate or trouble others, or is it so? Being without a plan
So you just got the desire to visit this place, and within a week, packed your bags and landed at your destination. How good will this work out? You ought to have some plan of action regarding your trip. Being disorganized will never make your trip a success.
You can always start with writing a checklist, or multiple ones for different tasks, tourist places. This will ensure you don’t forget anything. Do some research on your destinations, the language, the tourist hotspots, the best time to visit, ways to reach there, etc. All of this will save you a lot of time in last-minute commotion.
Don’t know the language
The local people of your destination will love it and understand what you want to say if you speak in their language. You don’t need to learn the whole language, just some few important words and sentences will do. But, whatever you will learn, do it perfectly, else you will end up offending someone if you utter the wrong words with the wrong meaning.

Always on the phone
If you are glued to your phone in your house, workplace, etc. it is okay, many people have become like that. But doing it even during your travels, in your trip is too much; are you on your solo trip to just be in your phone or to actually experience the place? It is annoying for those around you. What’s worse is that you may end up in an accident if you walk looking only in your device.
Power down that cell phone, give it some rest, look around and take in the experience of the new place. You should only use the mobile to click pictures freeze some memories of the place.
Being only at the famous spots
If everyone else is present at a place, it doesn’t mean it is the only one you should visit. Sometimes the less famous spots turn out to be the most beautiful ones. Instead of listening to others’ reviews and recommendations, you need to do your “own” research of the place. Best option is to take the guide of the locals, and explore the unknown.
Being loud and hyper
Agreed, sometimes people are overexcited about their trip or about seeing that famous attraction which they wished for a long time. This common behavior in tourist places is without any explanation. But the high decibel levels start to get to those around you and you may end up in an argument spoiling the trip experience in the process.
As the famous saying goes: “When in Rome, do as the Romans do,” people everywhere expect outsiders to follow the civic rules of the place and not do anything which will irk them. Your troublesome behavior can also bring a lot of issues for you, in an unknown place. It is always wise and beneficial to be at your best during your travels.
