Worrying is such a common habit everywhere that it needs no introduction. You ask yourself whether you have come across a person who hasn’t worried about anything in his/her life. But some people do it a lot and so much that their worrying drives other people mad and to add to it they feel justified.
Some people worry about every small thing and happenings in their life and the life of their near and dear ones; the best examples of such people are those who are grandparents or parents. Then there are those people who worry about a thing even after knowing that all is certainly well regarding it. Well, are you a serious and perennial worrier?
Then it is a cause for worry. Because excessive worrying not only affects your mental health, it also harms your physical health. Focus on the present: If you think more about the past or the future, you are bound to worry. You can’t do anything about these two tenses; it is only the present tense that you can do something about. So live this moment you have got instead of thinking of the future or past.

Share your worries: Keeping the worries only to you will aggravate them further but if you open up to someone and say what all you worry about, you will feel better and lighter. You will know their point of view; you will know suggestions and solutions to tackle your worries.

Exercising: There isn’t anything as better as working out. Apart from being beneficial for your physical health, it also improves your mental well-being. It releases your feel-good hormones; makes you confident, focused and decisive.

If you are unable to think in a situation, just stop: Often our minds don’t work correctly when we are stuck in any situation, it becomes vulnerable to all kinds of negative thoughts. Hence, it is best to not think at such a time, but later, when you will be able to think clearly.
