How can we recognize a Karmic relationship via Astrological charts?

Karma is nothing but the process of experience. What we set into motion, whatever we do, produce results and effects; and if they are not fulfilled in this life, they are carried forward to be done in our future lives.

In a previous blog, we understood that a karmic relationship is not all perfect, ideal, and happy one. You may have to suffer a lot and learn lessons from it. Maybe that is why people will be inclined to know beforehand whether a particular relationship of theirs is karmic or not. Most of us will agree that astrology is one amazing way to get all the answers about your karmic connections.

Why Astrology?

We all humans have an astrological birth chart, which is determined by the time of our birth. Consider the astrological birth chart as the unique blueprint of your soul, and it is concerned with karma. The placement of various planets in the horoscopes of two people, esp. the “Rahu” and “Ketu” planets can reveal their karmic connections.

How is it found?

In your horoscope, Rahu, or the North node, indicates the desires you want to achieve in life. On the other hand, Ketu, or the South node, determines what you want to get rid of, in life. Our astrological birth chart is circular, divided equally into 12 sections or houses. The various aspects of our lives are represented by 12 planets. They are: the above mentioned two, the sun and the moon, and the other eight planets of our solar system.

We can compare the horoscopes of two people in a synastry chart which can reveal their type and level of karmic connections. E.g. If Rahu occupies Sagittarius in your partner’s sign and the Gemini sign in your chart, if you both meet often, then you both have a karmic connection. If a karmic planet like Saturn is conjunct with either Rahu or Ketu of both people, then there is a guaranteed karmic bond.

Likewise, each one of the 12 planets has its properties and features. The influence of Rahu/Ketu of both the persons on the rest 10 planets is studied and inferred. E.g. Your Rahu falling on his/her Jupiter or his/her Rahu falling on your Jupiter. This way the conclusions of all possibilities are drawn up and which ones actually happen for you two is found out.

The planet Ketu and past life connections

You can understand how you knew the person in your past life by finding how their planets connect with your south node (Ketu). Following are the connections by sign:

  • Mercury conjunct Ketu: Mercury is the sibling, which means the person was your sister or brother.
  • Jupiter conjunct Ketu: Jupiter is the teacher. This person was your guru or benefactor.
  • Neptune conjunct Ketu: The person was a spiritual leader or prophet who influenced you.
  • Moon conjunct Ketu: Moon is the mother. The person was your child in past birth!
  • Mars conjunct Ketu: The person was a warrior/solder/occult practitioner you knew because Mars is the soldier.
  • Uranus conjunct Ketu: In this case, the person was a revolutionary who motivated you.
  • Pluto conjunct Ketu: You were a member of a group that was controlled by this person.
  • Sun conjunct Ketu: The person was in authority on you as Sun is the power.
  • Venus conjunct Ketu: Venus is the lover or wife and this means the person was your past life lover.
  • Saturn conjunct Ketu: Saturn being the taskmaster, the person was your teacher.

The Ascendant sign

It is a crucial part of an astrology chart. It is a point by degree and sign that was rising at the exact moment of your birth above the eastern horizon.

If the Ascendant sign falls with Rahu of each other, then it will be positive for both. Together you will grow, learn, and do things in this life which you couldn’t in the previous one. If it falls with Ketu of each other, then it’s a bad sign. Even if you both are attracted to each other, it is only to resolve some past karma, over time the attraction will wane away.

We all meet different people at different times in our lives. Some common signs of karmic relationships are Attraction, Possessiveness, Anger, Jealousy, Abuse, Arguments, etc. Whichever planetary influence we are under, all the pending karma with people, in the end, it is all for the betterment of our soul.
