Small ways to make your ordinary days fun and exciting

Thinking of things, we do every single day which could be made merrier by adding little elements of wow, we surprisingly came up with a list which we had to share!

Every day cannot be a happening day. Every day is not a party day – we know! But we can add some excitement by doing the small little things which can have you look forward to daily activities of life

  1. Add some zing to your morning beverage!:

    sure, we know that there is that one particular cup of tea or coffee that you need to wake up to every day. To make it fun you could gift yourself motivational mugs or classy English cups. Also is a great idea to try different flavors of your beverage. A little experiment never hurt anyone right?

  2. Make bathing an experience:

    There are a few days when we literally have to drag ourselves into the bathroom for a quick shower. Sure, we all have such days. Investing in your favorite fragrances, bath accessories and toiletries can take the bathing experience to the next level. Don’t forget to add some color by using a quirky shower curtain or have your favorite energizing shower music playlist to look forward to. Get collecting all the fragrant candles you like for special days when you really want to relax!

  3. Keep the next day outfit ready to wear:

    Surfing your wardrobe and selecting matching clothes to wear the next day can be therapeutic for sure. Clean, pressed, well-coordinated outfits hanging on the wardrobe all ready to be worn for the next day gives a feeling of something to look forward to! Also being aware of what you wear and maintaining your clothes for the same can be a big part of self-care we must say.

  4. Being well prepared for the meals you are going to cook next:

    In the stressful work scenario of today, being planned all the time is a task and mundane tasks like cooking happen almost organically depending on what is readily available around us in the kitchen. A little extra effort during the grocery shopping and a mental note made for the next two to three days can be a game-changer not only with respect to your diet but also again something to look forward to! Sometimes looking up for recipes and deciding on to what to make of a certain ingredient also it’s a great reason to be excited about.

  5. Develop a hobby:

    Doing something that you love doing even for an hour per day can be a great refresher. Pick up your colors and paints, play music, join yoga, read, write or dance. It will totally change the course of your day and have you look forward to the special hour every day!
