Want to edit your ex out of your life? Ask for help online!

Pictures taken with girlfriend, especially with a scenic background are so highly adored by most people. But when the same person becomes our Ex, she tends to ruin all our photographs with her, even if you and the scenery are looking so amazing in them.

To further add to the problem, this digital age has made it difficult for men who are trying hard to forget their ex, delete and completely flush her out of their life. But one man didn’t give up on his pictures, instead of suffering the agony of seeing himself with his ex in his favorite photo, which was taken at the Grand Canyon, he decided to do something about it.

The man named Callum Tait took the photo to twitter and asked people to remove his ex, using Photoshop, probably because he didn’t know how to use the software. Sharing the original photo, he tweeted from his handle @callumtaitt – Anyone any good with photoshop? Got this picture of me at the Grand Canyon but it’s with me ex and I just want me in it.

Within no time, Twitter users responded and brought out all their creative skills! Hundreds of them with exceptional and quirky photoshopping skills didn’t just erase his ex from the photo, but also made some other additions. The results were extremely hilarious.

Most of them added other people which include various celebrities, popular movies or TV series characters and their placement on the image made for some serious laughs. But going beyond that, some users literally created VFX videos that edited his ex! A twitter user with the handle @Atheist_Krishna made a video where an alien ship comes hovering over them, abducts his ex and goes away!

His original tweet was retweeted 5,287 times and got almost 1,800 replies! Even if we assume half of the replies were edited images, the number is a whopping 900! Some of the edited images were so comical that they will make you wonder whether the creator just poured out all the pent-up creativity in it. Some image editing looked such that people must have done it assuming his ex to be their own ex. Lol.

If you have spare time from your busy schedule and wish to tickle your funny bone, you can check the full tweet and replies thread on twitter here: https://twitter.com/callumtaitt/status/1155548362164375553. Callum didn’t expect this big response to his simple tweet and was overwhelmed to get back so many images in return for his one.

Callum announced that he will use his favorite edit as his Twitter profile and background images. Accordingly, he chose a couple of them, being a self-proclaimed Everton football club fan, his Twitter background pic was selected as Steven Gerard slipping! Why? Because that slip cost Liverpool FC the league title! Something Everton fans, their bitter rivals, celebrated joyously! For his Twitter profile pic, Callum used a simple edit where only he is present from the original image, rest the whole pic is a white background.

Ironically, social media proved to be the savior of someone when usually it makes difficult for people to forget their ex. See how one simple tweet for help can demonstrate the huge creative potential of people and make everyone laugh along.
